I found this to be a truly good restaurant. It stands out for being quite affordable when compared to other establishments nearby, offering excellent food. The Dim Sum, in particular, was absolutely delicious, and I wholeheartedly recommend a visit!

While I've noticed the prices have climbed and the dim sum portions aren't quite as generous as they once were, the culinary quality here remains consistently high, delivering truly delicious dim sum. Each offering, from the exquisitely delicate steamed dumplings to the perfectly crunchy, golden-fried sesame balls, demonstrates a commitment to quality that consistently draws me back. Their barbecued pork buns, whether chosen steamed or baked, strike a delightful balance of sweet and savory, making them an ideal foundation for a quick, satisfying lunch, especially when complemented by a couple of their warm, flaky custard tarts to finish. It's also convenient that you can pair your chosen dishes with a cup of coffee. Plus, a dedicated bakery section at the rear offers tempting slices of cake or pie for those seeking an additional treat.

Among all the dim sum establishments on Clement Street in the Richmond, this place is hands down my absolute favorite. Every item is consistently prepared fresh and tastes absolutely delicious, complemented by truly wonderful staff. My advice is to arrive early, as they tend to sell out of popular dishes, with congee often gone by 10:30 AM, and they frequently close earlier than their posted afternoon hours. For those who might be concerned about the "shark fin dumplings" on the menu, please know they do not actually contain shark fin; it's illegal in California, and frankly, at this price point, you wouldn't find it in dim sum anywhere.
